Information we receive

When you continue with email, we use your email address to send a private sign-in link and create or access your account. When you sign in with Google, Google provides a stable account identifier, your name, and your verified email address. We request only basic identity information and do not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, contacts, or other Google services. Guest checkout does not require an account. When you purchase, Stripe provides order information such as the checkout session, payment status, amount, currency, and checkout email.

Payment data

Stripe processes payment details on its hosted checkout. RoTemplates does not receive or store your full card number or card security code. Stripe handles payment information under its own privacy terms.

Optional store analytics

Optional browsing analytics start only after you choose “Allow optional” in Privacy. They use random browser and session identifiers to measure public pages, referral sources, campaign tags, button interactions, approximate click positions, section visibility, screenshots viewed, prices seen, scroll depth, active time, browser and device categories, errors, and page-performance measurements. If you buy, we can connect that consented visit to the order to understand checkout conversion. Optional button-label experiments may use a stable random assignment. Analytics do not record typed form contents, passwords, full URLs with private query strings, payment details, or screen recordings. Account, library, checkout-success, and admin pages are excluded from browsing tracking.

“Essential only” leaves browsing analytics off. You can change or withdraw your choice through Privacy at any time. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control also disable optional analytics. An “Exclude this test browser” choice records testing separately from normal traffic. We do not sell this data or use it for third-party advertising.

Essential operations and feedback

Regardless of optional analytics, we keep the order, payment, email-processing, file-transfer, and security records needed to operate the store and provide purchases. A completed transfer means our server finished sending the response; it does not prove a file was saved or opened. You may voluntarily send one fixed-choice feedback answer without supplying an email or free-text message.

Transactional email

We use an email delivery provider to send requested sign-in links, payment-confirmed download links, and essential order or support messages. These messages are transactional, not marketing. The provider receives the destination email address and message contents needed to deliver them.

How we use information

We use account and order data to authenticate you, attach purchases to My Library, confirm payment, email and deliver files, provide support, prevent fraud or abuse, maintain business records, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.

Retention and security

Detailed browsing events, feedback, and operational diagnostics are normally retained for up to 180 days. Optional visitor cookies last up to 180 days and session cookies expire after 30 minutes unless renewed. Older browsing identifiers are removed from attribution records; aggregate campaign and financial records may remain. Account records remain while your library is active. Order records may be retained for support, accounting, fraud prevention, and legal requirements. One-time sign-in and emailed delivery tokens expire automatically. We use secure session cookies, server-side ownership checks, short-lived download links, an admin allowlist, and rate limits, but no online system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your choices

You may ask about, correct, or request deletion of personal information we control, subject to records we must retain for legal or legitimate business purposes. Email support@rotemplates.org.

We may update this policy as the store or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
